The time spent is max. 15 minutes

At Nybolig Bjørn & Ankersen in Randers, new employees receive Mileage Book in their starter kit on their first day of work. Employees who previously used old-fashioned, physical driver's logs have Christmas lights in their eyes. There is a huge time saving for all driving employees in the store. The same goes for management, who are responsible for approving the logbooks. Everything is done automatically, with a few clicks and minimal time consumption.

Owner Thomas Ankersen elaborates on the Mileage Book solution:

"We have six Mileage Book users with iPhone and one with Android - all with automatic start and stop of trips. I get very positive feedback from the users. They can keep a logbook continuously instead of doing it once a month.

Previously, they had to spend half and full days reconstructing the routes of their trips with the calendar in hand. The time saved for the users is enormous and the ease of use is something I'm really excited about."

A lot of time saved compared to physical logbooks

Previously, the business used physical logbooks that were filled in with a ballpoint pen. In addition to the time saved for users, approval has also become easier according to Thomas Ankersen:

"Every 15th of the month, users receive a reminder from the system that they need to submit their mileage logs. On the 20th, the logbooks are ready for approval. The approval process is really, really nice. The system is very clear.

This also applies when I take samples. I can see the exact routes of the trips, so I don't have to measure trips online and compare them with the submitted data. The time spent is definitely less than before. Now I spend a maximum of 15 minutes a month approving mileage reports and sending them to the accountant."
